Original Dunstall mufflers in extremely good condition. This is an original Minnesota bike sold from our local dealership. This bike went from Leo’s when purchased to Southern California where it spent its life until the owner passed away in 2008. It was ridden showing 33k for miles. It has receipts for some of the service, in 2008 it got 2800$ by a well known LA Norton expert, including starter upgrade, mikuni carb and a bunch of other things. I have all the original parts (Air box, Amals, Points / Auto advance, Original Mufflers etc. etc.) My family has known this bike its entire life, it is hard to come by a bike that has the history 90% of the original parts were saved and it all is still together. Not an emgo part on this bike. I hate to see it leave but I have 30 plus bikes and it just sits. Originality: - Original Bill of Sale! - Original 21 day permit! - Original Minnesota lisc plate it left the dealership with ( because he went to California it was removed and stored so it is in amazing condition) - Original black cap exhaust with Norton Triumph Villers stamps still visible and Black plastic airbox - Original Mirror (You never see the original mirror) - Original Dunlop rims, spokes etc. - Original glass lenses – all lucas - Original registration, including tabs unused from 1978 - Original Union key - Original Wiring shows no wear by battery, no replaced terminals - Original Owner Card from Norton - Original Tool Kit - Both Center and Sidestand - Horn works - Switch gear is in good condition - Original Seat Cover - Original Dunstall’s in amazing condition and sound great! - Original plastic tray under the seat - Original Smiths Speedo drive, mileage is accurate - 1 Owner (this bike went back to his family in MN in 2008, so the title transferred for the inheritance, then when I acquired it years ago. So in reality I am the 2nd owner) - Shorai Lithium Battery - Starter upgrade to 4 brush and spins like a Japanese bike. - Unrestored Cosmetics o Only cosmetic update was new correct paint using the old body work scheme for measurements of stripes etc. This was a $1200 professionally done job, matching paint and stripes etc. Current Maintenance completed: - 2 new tires by me this winter - Top end in 2009 at 30k miles (Didn’t need it, but it got a valve job and new rings, all in spec original bore, old valve train included so you can see it wasn’t worn) All done by Norton Expert professionally - Clutch disassembled and cleaned - Head torqued - Valves adjusted - Shorai battery - All fluids - Plugs and plug wires (Original wires included) - 4 Brush chrome factory starter and Heavy Duty starter wires – Spins like a Japanese bike - Oil lines (Original included) - Brakes work as they should, flushed and front and rea master cylinders rebuilt - New fuel line (Original is included!!)- Original 932 Amals included Starts with a button touch, runs, drives, shifts etc. The Bad: - 40+ year old bike, you will find patina, chrome pits, marks dirt as expected. It has not been over polished or cleaned, if that is what you like, it will still clean up further. - Original seat cover near chrome strip in back has a small tear - Left blinker lights up but doesn’t always flash, rights flash instantly, when I was going to dig into it, they started flashing on the left - Gas cap seals tight, but 1 side of the hinge is a bit sloppy. - It may need jetting to run perfect in your climate - Frame plate color is worn from color and wires rubbing on it, but tag is intact stamping is clear, Frame and Engine numbers match.
